Personality:
By Tristan's size, looks and name you probably wouldn't guess what he was like. He is quite a free spirit, always looking for a good laugh and a trick to play. He’ll go to great lengths to see a smile, and he always has something witty to say. He always has a clever grin on, and loves to find something sarcastic to say, but never to a lady. While on this subject, it's safe to say that Tristan is quite the ladies' man.
Trstan is quite a flirtatious little twit, and loves to see fems blush. He likes to make them giggle, for he loves laughter even more when from the more feminine side. Don’t get him wrong, he has a great respect for fems. If any were to try and harm a female, you would definitely get to see why he's so massive.
Tristan can by annoying, sarcastic and loud, but he has his better traits. He is loyal, and is very capable of being gentle and kind. Once a friend that is what you will always be. He will always be there for you; to fight for you, comfort you, and he'll go far out of his way to make you smile, even if you aren't laughing at him. He would never betray a friend, no matter what he was offered, and would fight to his death for someone he loved.
Although he is a flirt, Tris knows, and so do all of his friends, that once he finds that certain someone, that vix will forever hold his heart. His heart will be her's just as the sun belongs to the sky.
Physical Appearance:
Tris is a massive canine, tall, muscular and just plain huge. He stands at a massive 45 inches, maybe more. he is by far the tallest wolf in Emoki. When he was a pup, he was always the biggest, and you could tell he was going to stay that way just by his giant paws. He is by far one of the largest canines in the region, towering over most females, and larger than any male he has yet encountered, though some come pretty close to matching him. He would be considered to be a perfect warrior, because he isn't just big, he is quick, with sharp weapons and mind. His teeth are razor sharp, and his claws aren't bad either.
He would be unbeatable, if not for a few weaknesses. Tris is partially blind in his right eye, making his perifrial vision very lacking on that side, and it doesn't contribute to his overall vision either. His leg has been broken twice on his right side, making it brittle, a sort of reoccuring injury, it is easily harmed, sprained, or even broken. You could say he's left handed.
Tristan's main coat color is a light chocolate brown. It runs over most of his body and face. He has a few lighter brown blotches here and there. His legs, muzzle and lower neck sport a light cream color. Also, the common downward triangular markings adorn his thighs in a sort of dark brown and red color. He has a stripe down his forehead of various browns and reds. This marking, he is quite proud of for some reason. He thinks it makes him look cool. his eyes are a charming sapphire blue.
History:
Tristan grew up quite normally in the Himtoshi pack. his parents were calm and loving. Little did they know what was in store for them. From the moment Tristan was born he was a little ball of pure and concentrated energy. He wore his parents out. They loved him, though, just the same. tristan broke his right back leg before reaching age one. He attmepted to jump up a tree. After failing twelve times and not making it, having gathered various bruises, he wasn't bored yet. He tried again and collided with a rock, later claiming that the rock attacked him, even though he was much too old to be using such excuses.
When Tristan reached the age of two, he was as energetic and free-spirited as ever. He didn't really fit in with the normal mintoshi youths. This bothered him and his parents. After a few months of discussion and planning, the family decided it would be best if Tristan went of to join the Maeliki. Although it wouldn't happem right away. Tristan wanted some adventure first, some Tristan time. So he wandered around for about a year or so. He made new friends, had some cool adventures and broke his leg, again. This time in a fight over a fem. he didn't want her as a mate, but the fight was with a cold-hearted male, and he couldn't bare to see her forced to go with him. Tristan lost the fight, along with full sight in his right eye, but the fem fled far eonugh away to be safe.
Tristan is now four, and he's about searching for a home and friends, and perhaps a family someday. He's still a little wacky, so watch your step.
Example Post: Massive paws moved onward, enjoying the feel of something besides cold ice beneath them. Yes, the ground was cold, especially during the dark of night, but it was comforting in some way to walk upon new terrain. Golden eyes pierced the darkness, glancing around attentively. Always alert was this tall handsome fellow called Shurikan. He slowed a bit, coming to the edge of a body of water, known by him to be Moon's Heart Lake. He gazed wondering and absent-mindedly upon the reflection of the moon, awestruck by its brilliance. He face grew solemn, for its golden color reminded him of his beloved sister...Ceres. He had not seen of heard word of her in a long while. He feared for her, but not wanting to think on it, he forced these thoughts from his mind. He reluctantly turned his head away form the lake and trotted onward along the bank.
He soon slowed his pace, catching the sound and smell of another. Someone else was wandering so late outside of pack territories? This confused him. He huffed and quickened his pace until coming upon the stranger. A dog she seemed to be and a unique one. He smiled slightly at her little encounter with the fish. He kept himself form chuckling. he decided not to speak of it, so not to embarass her. She had a coat of ebony and gold, and long velvet-looking fur. She looked to be the friendly sort at first glance, but one could never be too sure. He attempted to gain her attention by stepping lightly on a fallen leaf, and then he bowed to her respectfully. "My lady, I hope I have not intruded. My name is Shurikan. I hope I have not startled you, but, my lady, I fear that if I would have passed by you without a word you might have found me unmannered or unkind. Might I inquire of your name?" he asked extravagantly, addressing her politely, being one to never forget his manners. He looked into her eyes for a time then turned them away casually. It was impolite to never make eye contact, but equally so to stare. He'd mastered and equal balance years ago.
He wondered what he thought of her, and hoped he didn’t frighten her, being a lone and quite a large male approaching a lone and small fem at night. Being as logical as he was he found it surprising that he hadn’t already considered this. Still, if she wished him to go, he would leave at the immediate hint of her discomfort. He took a few steps away form her to give her room. He was glad to have the company, as isolated as he usually was. Even he needed to speak to someone every once in a great while. The large male then flashed her a friendly smile, hoping to inform her that he meant her no harm, quite the opposite. He worried for her being all alone here at night. Slowly his instinct to protect kicked in. he glanced around to make sure there were no threats to her before glancing back to her and awaiting her words. The pale moonlight shone down upon them, the ripples on the lake fading away. a cold breeze came from off the lake and ruffled his fur. Ah, it was a peaceful night.
